Senior work, direct client impact, zero bench time

We are small by design and we staff engagements with engineers we have worked with before. The bar is high because the work is real: production systems, regulated environments and clients who know our names.

Why engineers stay

What is actually on the table

No ping-pong tables in the pitch. This is what senior engineers who value autonomy get when they work with us.

Senior-only, always

You work with people who have shipped before. Fewer code reviews that are actually teaching moments, more peer debates about trade-offs.

Client proximity

Engineers talk to clients directly. No account layer translating your questions into tasks and your answers into tickets.

No bench time

You are staffed on real work with real deadlines from day one — and you have a say in which engagements you join.

Remote-first, LatAm-wide

Work from anywhere in LatAm with real overlap into US working hours, and a team on-site in Montevideo when we get everyone together.

Open roles

7 seats we are filling this year

Engagements run remote across LatAm. Every posting states why the seat exists and what it pays — if your specialty is missing, write to us anyway and we will answer.

Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript / Python)

Hiring now
Remote — LatAm, Uruguay preferredContractor or employeeEngineering
Apply

USD 3,000 – 4,800 / month

The first hire and the most generalist: you take a client project end to end — data model, API, UI, deploy — with AI doing the drafting and you doing the judging.

What you would own

  • Own one client project end to end, from kickoff notes to production traffic
  • Write the specs, the code and the tests — there is no hand-off layer to hide in
  • Review AI-generated code like a senior: you sign what ships

AI / Automation Engineer (LLM, RPA, vision)

Hiring now
Remote — LatAmContractor or employeeAI & Automation
Apply

USD 3,500 – 5,500 / month

The practice we sell hardest, and today it depends on one person. You make it a practice instead of a founder superpower: agents, RAG and browser automation in production.

What you would own

  • Ship LLM features with evaluations, cost caps and guardrails — not demos
  • Automate real back-office work with Playwright and messy third-party APIs
  • Own computer-vision pipelines (detection, OCR, quality checks) end to end

Test Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Hiring now
Remote — LatAmContractor or employeeQuality Engineering
Apply

USD 2,200 – 3,500 / month

We promise releases that hold, and you are the person who makes that promise true — suites clients trust, fast feedback and the standing to stop a release.

What you would own

  • Build and maintain Playwright suites that run on every pull request
  • Own the release gate and the bug triage loop together with the client
  • Turn every production incident into a regression test within 24 hours

Product Designer (UI/UX, part-time)

Opening soon
Remote — LatAmPart-time retainerProduct Design
Apply

USD 1,500 – 2,800 / month (part-time)

We sell products that look deliberate. You design the flows and the interfaces for two or three client apps a week's worth of days, straight from the requirements.

What you would own

  • Turn requirements into flows, wireframes and a UI kit engineers can ship against
  • Own the design system and the hand-off — no guessing at spacing or states
  • Run the two usability sessions that matter before a launch

Delivery Lead (technical project manager)

Opening soon
Remote — LatAmContractor or employeeDelivery
Apply

USD 2,500 – 4,000 / month

Right now the founder runs delivery and sales at the same time. You take the client relationship, the plan and the weekly rhythm so engineering and growth both stop competing for his calendar.

What you would own

  • Run two or three concurrent engagements: scope, risks, weekly demos
  • Write the status update the client actually reads and the estimate they can hold us to
  • Own blockers, dependencies and the escalation path before they become surprises

DevOps / Platform Engineer (retainer)

Opening soon
Remote — LatAmPart-time retainerPlatform
Apply

USD 2,500 – 4,200 / month (retainer, ~20h/week)

Every engagement gets the same boring, repeatable spine: pipeline, environments, observability, rollback. You own that blueprint so client work never starts from zero.

What you would own

  • Maintain one delivery blueprint: CI/CD, preview environments, IaC, monitoring
  • Cut deploy times and make rollback a one-liner across projects
  • Be the person the team calls when something is on fire in production

Business Development Partner (part-time, commission)

Always open
Remote — US or LatAmPart-time + commissionGrowth
Apply

USD 1,500 – 2,000 base + 5–10% of first-year contract value

Founder-led sales got the first clients. You add the outbound habit: a listed account list, warm intros and a pipeline we review every Monday — with our own products and case studies as proof.

What you would own

  • Run outbound to US mid-market engineering leaders using real case studies, not decks
  • Qualify and book discovery calls — you are not closing alone at this stage
  • Own CRM hygiene and the weekly pipeline review with the founder

How we pay

Bands are published because guessing wastes everyone's time. We benchmark against the 2026 Uruguay and LatAm market for export work and position in the upper half of the mid band — not the bottom, because replacing a good engineer costs more than paying one properly. Adjustments are reviewed every six months and when your scope changes.

The AI tooling you get on day one

Licensed assistants in your editor and terminal, our internal templates for Next.js, Python and Playwright, and the same review discipline we sell to clients. The tools are there to remove the boring half of the job so your hours go to judgment, architecture and the client conversation.

Hiring process

Four steps, two weeks, no ghosting

You always know where you stand. If we go another direction, you get a specific reason — we owe you that much.

01

Intro call

Thirty minutes with talent and a tech lead. We talk about what you have built, not trivia.

02

Technical deep dive

A real engineering conversation plus a paid take-home sized to two hours — never a weekend project.

03

Meet the pod

You interview the people you would work with, and they interview you. Both sides decide.

04

Offer in 48 hours

Transparent compensation band, growth path and the project you would join — in writing.
